This truly unique collaborative concert brings leading Bay Area artists Diana Gameros, Jackie Gage, and Cava Menzies and the San Francisco Girls Chorus together with other incredible singers, songwriters, and instrumentalists to be announced, as we honor the Feminine in all its stages of life. The concert will feature new lullabies created in Noe Music’s Lullaby Project alongside the world premiere of a new work for the SF Girls Chorus and instrumentalists by Cava Menzies with lyrics generated from Bay Area community members to commemorate this special gathering.

On Friday, April 14, 2023 the San Francisco Girls Chorus will return to the Julia Morgan Ballroom to celebrate Artistic Director Valérie Sainte-Agathe and her ten incredible years of artistic leadership during our 44th Annual Gala and Auction!
San Francisco Girls Chorus members will participate as vocalizing penguins in the world premiere at Herbst Theatre of Prospero's Island, a fantastical new chamber opera based on Shakespeare's The Tempest from acclaimed Bay Area opera creators Allen Shearer and Claudia Stevens. The co-production by Ninth Planet ensemble and InTandem features stunning imagery of the Falkland Islands, richly orchestrated music performed by Ninth Planet players, and glorious singing by a stellar cast. Mark your calendars for this unique and exciting production!
The San Francisco Girls Chorus partners with Chanticleer to present a concert full of new works and new sounds.
